R.A. Judy

R. A. Judy is Professor of Critical and Cultural Studies in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh. Among other works, Professor Judy is the author of (Dis)forming the American Canon: African Arabic Slave Narrative and The Vernacular, “The Question of Nigga Authenticity,” and editor of the influential collection, Editor, Sociology Hesitant: W. E. B. Du Bois’s Dynamic Thinking. A member of the Editorial Collective of boundary 2, his essays have appeared in Real, Surfaces, The Massachusetts Review, Critical Zone, Critical Quarterly, Journal of African Philosophy, Abobhash, and Noesis.
