Incomplete (G) Grades

If you received an incomplete grade in Introduction to Psychology because you did not complete
the research participation requirement, then you have one academic year to make up the work.

Do you know how many hours of work you need to make up?
If not, then contact Dr. Richard Moreland,  who can check for you.
You could write some brief papers, at home and on your own schedule.
Instructions for these can be found at http://www.pitt.edu/~cslewis/papers.html.
Or you could try to participate in more of our research projects.
Start by visiting http://www.pitt.edu/~cslewis/sspool/form.html.   Print out the form you find there.
Next, visit http://experimetrix.com/pitt to see what research projects are running this term.
If you find something appealing, then go ahead and sign up to participate.
But after you finish the project, ask the project director to sign the form for you,
instead of entering the credit hour(s) directly into our computer database.

After all your work is done, mail the completed form to Dr. Moreland (3103 Sennott Square,
Psychology Department, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15260).
He will arrange to change your G grade to the grade that you earned in the course.
Grade changes typically take around two weeks, and you may not be notified by the Registrar
that your grade has been changed.  To be safe, it's wise to ask the Registrar's Office or your advisor
for an updated copy of your transcript, and look for the new grade there.
