About me

I am an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh, specialising in metaphysics and philosophy of language. Before coming to Pitt I was at NYU for three years. Before that I was a graduate student at Princeton. And before that, I was at University College, Cork, in my hometown. I'm married to Jessica Moss, who is also an assistant professor at Pitt.

We have two children: our son Oscar Moss Dorr, born October 12th, 2002, and our daughter Una Moss Dorr, born on January 14th, 2006.

Here's my CV.
