South Asian Review welcomes submissions on all aspects and periods of South Asian Literatures and Languages--ancient, precolonial, colonial and postcolonial.  The following areas are of special interest to the journal: South Asian Studies, South Asian Culture, South Asian Art, Architecture and Music, Comparative Aesthetic, Literary Theory, Cultural Studies, Colonial Studies, Postcolonial Studies, Comparative Literature, Women's Studies, and Film Studies. The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is the new home of the journal.
