Therapeutic Services:
- Laryngeal micro-spot laser surgery adds to the
precision of vocal fold surgery, allowing for improvement
of vocal function.
- Phonosurgery is specialized laryngeal surgery to
voice function.
- Botox Injections reduce the tight, squeezed phonation and
disruption of voice breaks caused by spasmodic dysphonia.
- Behavioral voice therapy, which is based on objective
measures of vocal function and visual examination of the larynx,
enables us to prescribe therapies to maximize vocal quality.
- Treatment of early laryngeal cancer emphasizes early
diagnosis and treatments that conserve vocal function.
- Laryngeal reconstruction is often conducted to
repair an
injured larynx or a narrow larynx, subglottis, or trachea.
- Rehabilitation of vocal fold scarring, which can be
achieved through both medical and surgical methods, is designed
to improve vibration of the vocal folds.
- Treatment of vocal fold
bowing and other voice changes
related to aging includes restoring the shape of the vocal folds
and/or retraining vocal technique to compensate for the aging
process.
- Thyroplasty, arytenoid adduction, and vocal fold
