Dues
For Emily - charging the $50 rowing non-racing dues + her personal fees for entering regattas. (The team would still be entering her in events with all of our other entries). All other rowers: $195 due by 9/22/07
Races
Head of the Charles - only 2 boats got entries this year (varsity only, one women's four, one men's four)
Head of the Schuylkill - 10/26/2007 - Leave on Friday (if you need excuse letters or if you live close to Philadelphia let the Secretary know) We stay at rowers' parents house (get dinner and a place to stay for 10/25/2007)
CAR-DU-PITT - 11/10/2007 - 11/10/2007 (novice-only race)

Ask about getting a little more space from TRRA
Get small committee to make the BBQ be a more enjoyable experience for everyone (get donation jar, past mugs, henleys, shirts that were not sold in fundraising to the BBQ)
Set-up 5:00pm
Guests would arrive at 6:00pm (Jeff from SORC? Student volunteer outreach lady? Kenyon Bonner, Jackie Rice, Dr. Humphrey, Dr. Stewart.)
Serving at 7:00pm
Make dining experience for presentable and organized (make sure to socialize with the administrators and make them feel welcome - avoid socializing with one another too much).
Head of the Charles
2 Entries: Lightweight Women's Four and Mens Club Four
Who is Eligible? Only currently enrolled students of the University of Pittsburgh may race at this year's HOTCharles Regatta (10/20-21/07). We will deal with this at a later time (Emily will not race this year).
Perhaps a novice can house some of the people going; contact Kristian to see if he can house us again.
Additional Coxswains at practice
Sean Baskin is currently making a schedule of additional coxswain attendance at varsity practices (Todd, Steve R., Erin)
Newsletter
Target date is to have them mailed-out right before Thanksgiving Break (alumni, faculty, parents)
Have outline for it by within a couple of weeks.
Perhaps getting advertisements in it to use as a fundraiser.
Secretary
You must hand in your packets to any varsity member (at novice practice) prior to 9/21/2007 or you will not be able to participate at practice until you do so.
Any varsity member over 21 should see me to become a driver for races.
Meeting minutes will be posted on the website shortly after every meeting.
Fundraising
Flyers for work-weekends are already made and will be distributed to the team within the next couple of days.
You will be asked to stuff department mailboxes
Any additional money earned over the fundraising quotas ($100/semester) can be used toward the next semester's fundraising quota.

Trailer - Bought and currently being built (goal date is prior to October 5th)
Tech Chair
Camera is broken and Daniel wants us to get a new one (Dean has seen some for $300.00 plus the cost of a camera bag). Is this reasonable? Dean will research cameras, write a proposal, and try to get SGB to allocate money to us for a camera.
Online store:
Now - take inventory of what we have (Allison)
Goal - set up the store (getting through all the firsts: t-shirt maybe only for this year) so that next generations can improve on it.
Wants to set up a team database accessible to all rowers, alumni, coaches, parents (look for an email regarding individual preferences with the database)Édo we have enough space (photoalbums)? Looking into paying $100/year to have a good, independently supported website.
Possibly add a chair under the Tech Board Position that would be in charge of taking pictures of all crew events.
Clothing Chair
Boathouse sports - Tech shirt, mesh short, full sweat suit for $60.
New varsity - make sure to try on a varsity jacket before leaving the meeting in order to know your size.
Allison will email the Fall line to the team within the next couple of days.
Treasurer
Dues must be handed into Amy by 9/22/2007
