Coxswain Clinic 2/9/2008
$85/person at North Catholic: we will pay for our coxswains to go (~$600). Paid for by Carrie since she owes the team money. Coxswains will be leaving the erg race at 11am that day.
Winter Care for Engine
Laci vs Kleber: Laci will do it for us for $500 less.
In the future, we will use super synthetic oil in the future once/year.
Fundraising
Look for flyers and email regarding dates for work weekends
Max and ErmaŐs fundraiser: applied and we are waiting on available dates. Guests must bring flyer; they eat and we get 20% of total amount guests buy. Note: Board and Team members should try to go to ensure we made the minimum of $250.
Ergathon: 2/27Éspace will be reserved by CRB (8am-4pm).
Those in Pittsburgh for the summer should try to get involved in the Transplant Games as a fundraiser/work weekend paid for by Michelle Levy.
Team Online Store/Clothing
We have paid $1500 for 500 t-shirts to go up for sale on website
We must set-up an inventory system
Find out if our logo is Pitt-licensed
Winter line stuff will be in 2nd week of Feb., Rugby shirts will be in 2/20.
2 Camp Bob t-shirts this year: (1) red with black lettering (2) Pink with black letters
Look for email with further details regarding shirt descriptions.
If you want a JL unis/Jacket and are Varsity let Allison know.
2 sets of Boathouse Packages will be up for grabs after winter line comes in.
We cannot use the Pitt servers for the online store; we are looking into
different server options.
Until we have a team P card, we will be taking phone/email orders from buyers interested in purchasing products available online through our website.
Dean will create a hypothetical plan to start our team store next year: set up inventory system, boxes, shipping, account with USPS, etcÉto lay down some sort of an infrastructure.
Coaching Prospectus
Meeting with Kenyon: proposed to create a position at Student Life that would create a leadership position that would entail working with Club team coaches and their officers to address any struggles that these groups may be experiencing.
The current idea is to use this position to support our current situation; with Daniel taking on this new position as well as the full time head coach position.
A proposal is currently being drawn up by Kenyon. We will review it and decide whether or not this is the direction we want to take. More on this to come.
Camp Bob
Bus: 56 passengers
Lou will find out if we can get a van for the whole week of Camp Bob.
Camp Bob: Daniel pays for his week; but will ask Deno to make sure.
Exact cost per rower is $243.50 (we will round to $250).
Money due the last meeting before Camp Bob (March 2nd).
Supplemental request for spring break: look for an email for team members to show up and ask for money to pay for the bus to Camp Bob and a team camera.
If someone pays their money and doesnŐt go and we are not charged for them, we will refund them their money (precedent set last year).

Newsletter is officially finished: it will be available online in the weeks to come.
CRB has made a template for the newsletter that future generations can use to make newsletters to come.
