Dr. Yasko's research is focusing on family caregiver needs and effects of programmatic intervention; the effects of support groups on the quality of life of women with breast cancer and the feasibility of interventions to provide cancer awareness in minority populations.

Dr. Yasko received her B.S.N. from West Virginia University and her M.N. Ed. and Ph. D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
