Dr. Dunbar-Jacob's investigations focus on adherence to health
regimens recommended for primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. She is also studying participant adherence to regimens--such
as diet, medication, and screening recommendations--outlined for clinical protocols and trials. Dr Dunbar-Jacob conducts her research
both independently and in collaboration with other investigators, which allows her to study a wide variety of populations, including those
with rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and Raynaud's disease. She also studies adherence to a breast cancer screening regimen by
women over age 50 and compliance with treatment guidelines in transplant recipients.
