CRCD Symposium

You are cordially invited to a research presentation sponsored by the Center for Research in Chronic Disorder on Tuesday, May 14, 1996 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in 123 VB. A reception will follow immediately after the program in the lobby from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The program is "Quality of Life Across Chronic Disorders: Utility of the Medical Outcomes Study-Short Form-36" and will feature the following presenters:

Dr. Mary Jane Bernier, "Efficacy of a Home-Based Rehabilitation Program Using Upper Extremity,

Exercise Training and Self-Efficacy, Program to Improve Functional Ability in Persons With

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease."

Although Dr. Mary Jane Bernier will not be here in person to present the quality of life results from her study, she sends her best regards to her friends and colleagues at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing.
