Collision is accepting nonfiction, art, and photography for its upcoming Spring
2006 issue.
CONTENT
Send us your best personal essays and narratives, travel pieces, profiles,
and poems. Or, send us your favorite art and photography.
PRIZES
The top three submissions will win cash prizes:
First: $150
Second: $100
Third: $50
All published writers will receive a copy of Collision's Spring
2006 issue and an invitation to read at our April release party.
GUIDELINES
WRITERS MUST BE CURRENT UNDERGRADUATE OR GRADUATE STUDENTS.
This is pretty much our only major stipulation. Students from
outside of the U.S. are welcome to submit.
Each piece should be under 3,000 words. Multiple submissions are encouraged.
To submit, email your nonfiction to collide@pitt.edu by Wednesday,
MARCH 1, 2006. Please make sure to include your name, contact
information, sources (if applicable), and a brief bio.
