Hey there! So what's there to say about me? Well?I was born on December 5th, 1985 in :::gasp::: Cleveland, Ohio. My family moved several times, but I consider myself a home-grown Pittsburgh kid.
I'm a freshman engineering student at the University of Pitt. And am seriously considering going on to med school. I live in an on-campus house with some friends, which means minimal nasty cafeteria food :) . I love my classes and am enjoying the college life, like climbing a tree at 3 am with no reason other than it?s fun.
Oh ya, my family: I lived with my mom and brother in Morningside (by the Pgh Zoo) until this fall. My brother, Chris, is 21 years old and is a musical genius (really, it?s oh so true). And then there?s my eleven year old step-sister, Kelsey, who lives in NC with my dad and step-mom. She, on the other hand, will be a biologist / artist / actress / astronaut. I love and miss them so much!!!!
So what about me? What do I like? Well that?s the trouble. I like way too many things. Ok, so I went to Schenley High School, (which is right here in Oakland). During High School, I focused more on my studies than on extra-curricular activities. In high school I played around in mock trial, rowed on the river, and had many political, philosophical conversations with the always debating CAS kids.
But I also left time to goof around with friends. We went camping, dancing (Katie: my swing dancing buddy), bowling, hung out, went to the south side on senior skip day, almost getting killed at Kennywood (hehehe), and all the other typical good stuff.
Some of the best times of my life so far have been places other than Pittsburgh; shocking, eh? Crazy adventures rock climbing or the extended trips to an ATF event with my youth group definitely are at the top of the list. And of course the mission trips I took to Venezuela (2000) and Haiti (2002) definitely shifted personal a paradigm or two. : )
