My name is Christopher Keller. I was born and raised in Wadsworth Ohio.
I attended Wadsworth city schools for my entire schooling. In high school I particpated in many activities including the academic challenge team, and National Honors Society. It was always my goal to graduate as Validictorian, and I was very proud to graduate as the class validictorian.
I played football in wadsworth for eight years, finally giving it up due to injury.
After my football career ended I picked up paintball, and have played on a tournament level for the last 6 years. I have worked for many years as an assitant to my father on private surveying jobs.
After being accepted to college, I visited Pitt a few times, and liked the campus. I then choose Pitt, because I had a very good financial aid package.
I entered the engineering school at Pitt because I was given a scholarship to be an engineer, and I did not have a very good idea on what I actually wanted to do.
Since coming to the University of Pittsbugh I have joined the Triangle Engineering fraternity, and am a member of the Freshman engineering student council. I have enjoyed engineering since coming to the university, and plan to pursue a degree in either chemical, environmental or bioengineering. If I major in bioengineering, I will most likely seek acceptence into medical school. I still remain undecided on what I want to do, although my deadline is rapidly approaching, and I will most likely stay in the Swanson School of Engineering.
