I'm a 5th year PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh in Hispanic Linguistics. My broad area of interest is classroom second language acquisition and teaching. Specifically, I work on the acquisition of Spanish. I love learning languages, and I'm working on getting beyond the beginner level of French.  I've also studied Quechua, and, of course, Spanish.  I've been a Spanish TA for the past four years at the University of Pittsburgh, and I've also taught English as a second language in Madrid, Spain and high school Spanish in Jacksonville, Florida.
