Submission Guidelines


Submissions are due June 2, 2006. Please email in either .DOC, .RTF, or .PDF format to cist2006@pitt.edu. Submissions can also be emailed to either of the co-chairs.

Papers should follow the guidelines specified below, which are the same as the guidelines for Management Science:
  • Papers should be a maximum of 32 pages, all inclusive, printable on 8.5 x 11-inch paper
  • Use a 12-point font with one-inch margins on four sides
  • Double-space throughout the paper, including abstract and references
  • Include a non-mathematical abstract, as understandable to readers as possible, of not more than 200 words
  • Keywords should be included
  • Indicate on the front cover whether the paper is student-authored (the lead author is a student or the lead author indicates in writing that the bulk of the work was done by a student)

Please note that CIST will not take ownership of paper copyrights.
