Saturday Science Academy
This program serves to give local minority students "hands-on" laboratory experience in chemsitry. Once in the fall and once in the spring local high school students come to the department for a three hour session where they can carry out various chemistry experiments and learn the basic principles of synthetic and analytical chemistry under the guidance of our undergraduate and graduate chemistry majors.
