External Vice President - Emily Guzan

Dear Visitor:

Hello Alumni and Friends of the University, As the Vice President of External Affairs for the Blue and Gold Society, I have had the privilege of working with some exception student leaders on some exciting events. Our members have come out in full force to represent our student body at various alumni programs. Each Blue and Gold member is required to work at least six events, and many of our members have exceeded this number. The members who have worked the most events include Lauren Faulk, Steve Gonzalez, Karey Lizauckus, Deanna Moorehead, and Keren Shefet.

Several events we have worked include the Legacy Laureaute Dinner, a tour of the Hillman Cancer Institute, an event called Appleseed which involved members reading to students at Pittsburgh city schools, and the LEEDS Awards in which the university was recognized for its excellence in "green" construction.

Our members and officers have worked hard to make sure that the Blue and Gold Society remains one of the most respected organizations on campus. Our members continue to be intelligent, well-spoken, and highly involved students in the university. The members of the Blue and Gold Society are proud to represent the university community and the Alumni Association, and we look forward to working with more alumni, administrators, and friends of the university in the future.
