The Pittsburgh Chromatin Club holds two mini-symposia each year. At these meetings, five members of the local chromatin community present their recent research results in 30 minute talks. In addition, an esteemed member of the national chromatin community presents a full seminar. Participants include principal investigators, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and undergraduate students from the University of Pittsburgh Department of Biological Sciences, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, and the Carnegie Mellon University Department of Biological Sciences. Meetings are held at the Hillman Cancer Center, 5117 Centre Avenue in Pittsburgh. Following the presentations, members of the Pittsburgh Chromatin Club adjourn to a local restaurant for further discussions.
