Cell Culture Facility |
The rapid and precise determination of the DNA sequences of genes is vital to modern research in the biological sciences. The DNA sequencing facility is located in 543 Crawford Hall and is supported by the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, and the users of the center (consult our building floor plan for precise location within Crawford Hall). The facility is fully staffed and contains a state of the art ABI 3100 sequencer for rapid determination of high-quality DNA sequence information. As of Spring 2006, sequences are provided at $18 per template; email us for current rates.
