Dr. Bentley received his Ph.D. in 1943 from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, his D.Sc. in 1965 from the University of London, and joined the Department in 1953.

Currently, Dr. Bentley is not accepting graduate students in his laboratory. Dr. Bentley is not accepting undergraduate researchers, and does not sponsor students in other laboratories.
