Since coming to the University
of Pittsburgh in 1991, Ms.
Seltzer's research has focussed on issues
surrounding decisions about organ donation and substance abuse prevalence
and associated service needs of the homeless. As a specialist in grant
proposal preparation, she works with junior and senior faculty to design
and conceptualize research projects and to develop effective grant
proposals. Ms. Seltzer is the author or co-author of several articles
related to organ donation, non-heart-beating organ donation, and gender and
funding allocation issues in the scientific community.
