John Lyne (Wisconsin,
1978) is a professor in the Department of Communication at the University
of Pittsburgh and is a resident
fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science. He has written numerous
articles and chapters on rhetoric of science, philosophy and rhetoric, and
argumentation. Each spring he co-teaches a graduate seminar with J.E.
McGuire (HPS), "Science and Its Rhetorics."
He currently teaches the graduate seminar in Philosophy of Medicine for the
program in Bioethics and Health Law.
