Professor Frolik is an
authority in the area of guardianship, which has earned him recognition as
a national expert on the legal issues of older Americans. His books include
Counseling the Older Client (ALI/ABA), Residence Options for
Older or Disabled Clients (Warren, Gorham,and Lamont) and Elder Law in a Nutshell
(West). His knowledge of elder law resulted in an appointment as a
congressional delegate to the White House Conference on Aging in 1995. He
was also appointed as co-director of the Gruter
Institute Teaching Conference on Law, Biology, and Human Behavior in
1996. Professor Frolik is currently chair of the
American Bar Association Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section
Committee on Guardians and Conservators. He teaches courses in elderly
persons and the law and law, biology and human nature.
