In The Brain Aging & Cognitive Health Lab we investigate how the mind and brain change with age and the factors that promote successful aging. To do this, we use a variety of neuropsychological assessments, such as computer based tasks and questionnaires, genetic testing, physical fitness testing, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET).

The principal investigator of the lab is Dr. Kirk Erickson, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.
