Tsipori-Roman cardo pictures

King of the road? Well, not quite. The road is the "cardo," the main paved street of Tspori.

Excavated structure that has rooms with mosaic floors. The purpose of the structure is uncertain, but it may have been a public building.

Another mosaic in the structure in the "downtown" area of Tsipori. It apparently depicts the source and flow of the Nile River to the Mediterranean. Quite intricate.
