Aram Rosenthal - About

I am a graduate student in the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Science Masters of Information Science program. The purpose of this website is to deciminate information about my academic work as well as my professional information.

I currently devide my time between working in the VISC Lab and my graduate courses. My primary research interest is data mining and analysis, with a focus on visual data mining. I hope to apply this knowledge to work at a hedge fund when my degree is complete. My background is in computer science so I have been studying the financial world as much as I can. My intention is to eventually design complete analysis systems with select hardware and custom software.
