my Teaching Interests
revolve around promoting diverse learners and underrepresented students as well as encouraging active and collaborative learning. I hope to challenge students, use innovative styles of teaching, mentoring, and assessing, and promote interdisciplinary research and the study of sustainable and green engineering.
The best courses and mentors challenge you to rethink your world, or your perceptions of a system or box.

I am currently not teaching any courses at the University of Pittsburgh, however several courses that I am or will be involved in are:
CEE 2209 - Life cycle assessment (fall '08)
**course materials to be posted by Jan 1**
CEE 1205/2205 - Introduction to Life cycle assessment (coming fall '09)
CEE 1211/2211 - Natural Resource Use and Energy Consumption (spr)
CEE - Industrial Ecology and Design for Environment (fall)
