The official newspaper of the University of Pittsburgh, the Pitt Chronicle is published by the Office of Public Affairs.
More than once, Pitt junior Brittany Chambers has been called a "motivator." Academically, she challenges high school students from underrepresented populations by tutoring them in engineering, math, and science through her involvement with Pitt's EXCEL and INVESTING NOW programs. Pitt Magazine
A quarterly publication, Pitt Magazine is distributed to all alumni and other friends of the University of Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgher William S. Dietrich II grew a family company into a national success. But he was more than an astute businessman. In midlife, while a CEO, he earned Pitt graduate degrees in political science. Later, he tripled his fortune through investments. Dietrich, a Pitt trustee, died on October 6, but his spirit of enterprise endures through an unprecedented gift.
