Rhodes and Marshall scholars
During the last 17 years, more students from Pitt’s Honors College received Rhodes and Marshall scholarships than from any college or university in Pennsylvania. |

|
2002 marked the fourth consecutive year that a Pitt student won the Marshall scholarship, and that student was the only recipient from a Pennsylvania university. Honors College students frequently receive other Ivy League caliber awards, such as the Goldwater and Truman scholarships. |
