- Please
arrive at the
Carnegie Museums
of Pittsburgh
Music Hall by
2:45 p.m. on
Friday, February
24. The ceremony
will begin at
3 p.m.
- Upon arrival, you will receive a University of Pittsburgh pin which was designed for this occasion. It is hoped that you will wear this pin in years to come to remind you of the honor you brought to your alma mater.
- During the ceremony, you will be asked to stand with other academic or honorary fraternity awardees. Your name, although not announced during the program, will appear in the printed program. Additional copies of the program will be available in the Office of Special Events, 1200 Bruce Hall, following the ceremony.
- The Convocation is open to the public, and your family is encouraged to attend.
- If you have a disability and require special accommodations in order to fully participate in the ceremony, please contact the Office of Special Events at 412-624-7100. We ask for your cooperation in notifying us as soon as possible.

- Please
arrive at the Carnegie

- If you would like to participate in the procession, please arrive by 2:30pm and assemble to the right of the main entrance of the Music Hall with the other faculty who are processing. You may get dressed in your regalia at this time. If you decide not to participate, you may proceed directly to a seat inside the Hall.
- You may leave personal items behind when you process into the auditorium. They will be guarded until you return for them.
- During the ceremony, honored faculty will be recognized as a group. Your name will appear in the printed program. Additional copies of the program will be available in the Office of Special Events, 1200 Bruce Hall, following the ceremony.
