Academic Computing
Seminar Series The Academic Computing Seminar
Series promotes the dissemination of knowledge about advances in academic
computing. Approximately four
seminars are held each academic year.
The Council on Academic Computing and the Office of the Provost
initiated the Series during the 2005-2006 academic year. Academic Computing
Initiatives The Council on Academic Computing has sponsored several
funding initiatives over the last several years. The High
Performance Network Applications Initiative was administered by the
Office of the Provost and the Council during the 2000-2001, the 2001-2002,
and the 2003-2004 academic years.
The High Performance Computing Initiative was
administered by the Office of the Provost, the Council, and the Pittsburgh
Supercomputing Center during the 2002-2003 academic year. |
