High Performance Computing
Initiative
The purpose of the High Performance Computing Initiative was
to promote the application of high-performance computing in novel areas and
to increase awareness of the potential uses of high-speed computing at the University of Pittsburgh. The Project funded through the
Initiative was expected to provide a competitive advantage to the University
and faculty in their teaching and research.
