What Pitt
students say . . . Q: How do I get to
know people on such a large campus? A: If you are
living on campus, definitely get to know the people in your dorm, on your
floor, or in your suite. Also
join organizations – there are a ton of them and the sooner you join
the faster you meet people and have the opportunity to make friends who share
your interests. Q: How do I meet
people and make friends? A: It’s
really a lot easier then it seems.
There are so many activities/clubs/ interest groups and everyone is
always open to meeting new people.
Just be outgoing! Q: I want to get
involved in extra curricular activities, but there are so many to choose
from. How do I learn more about
them? A: Attend
activities fairs, but if you miss that, it does not mean it is too late to
join. You can find out more info
on the Pitt Web site and you can always
email the particular activities you are interested in. Resources Ø
