International studies, as reflected in policies, relations amoung people, technological innovations, and the physical
world, has become increasingly important in our rapidly changing world. Exposure to, and awareness of other cultures,
combined with the ability to communicate with other people will be very important, both personally and professionally,
for your future success. Opportunities for adding an international dimension to your undergraduate experience at Pitt

Study abroad was one of the main reasons I came to Pitt and one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment you step into another country, you learn so much more than any class could possibly teach. You learn about your strength as a student and as a person while experiencing a culture so different from your own. It taught me that coming out of my comfort zone would open up doors that I never even knew existed.
