New Faculty Forums
Literature suggests that the interactions of new faculty with colleagues contribute to their success in teaching and research.   The Provost's Advisory Council on Instructional Excellence (ACIE) established this program of annual interdisciplinary discussion groups for new faculty in 2006 and the first invitational meetings took place in January and February 2007.  The purpose of the discussion groups is to provide opportunities for new faculty to meet and interact with other new faculty in interdisciplinary small groups. The forums facilitate exchanges of information and interests that enrich the experiences of faculty new to the University and to encourage subsequent collaborations.

Questions about the forums can be directed to:
The office of Vice Provost Andrew Blair
