Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Monday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 9:30 pm
Jesus Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic faith. In honor of the Year of the Eucharist, the Newman Center offers adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. in our chapel. This is a wonderful opportunity for quiet prayer and reflection in the presence of our Lord. All are welcome to stop by any time. Contact the Newman Center if you are able and would like to become a scheduled adorer to spend the same hour each week with our Lord. One adorer is required each hour; two are preferred.

Wednesday Oratory & Sung Vespers
Wednesday, January 11, 2006
6:00 pm
The Fathers of the Oratory will welcome all to participate in their Evening Oratory on Wednesdays each week. Oratory begins at 6:00 pm and will consist of sung Bespers (Evening Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours), a brief sermon and, at its conclusion, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 6:30 pm.
The very beginnings of the Congregation of the Oratory are found in the regular gathering of the faithful to pray with St. Philip Neri and to be formed by his and his companions' Familiar Discourse on the Word of God. We welcome and encourage your participation as an opportunity to foster greater devotion to St. Philip and a better understanding of his charsims and of the life of the Oratory.
