EAST ASIAN POLITICS
Pitt's Asian Studies Center is
one of only 13 such centers nationwide which receive the U.S. Department
of Education funding support. The center offers Asian Studies Certificates,
fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students, and many courses related
to Asia.
Professor Wenfang Tang, a member of the
Department of Political Science, is the faculty coordinator of Pitt
in China, a popular four-week summer program in China.
