Robbery
An individual reported to University of Pittsburgh Police that on September
23, 2007, at 12:30 a.m., he was robbed while walking in the 300 block
of Atwood Street. According to the victim, the suspect pushed him up against
a wall and demanded money. Victim gave the suspect $20.00; the suspect
then went through the victim's pocket and took his cell phone. The suspect
showed no weapons, and left the scene in an unknown direction.
A
clothing description is not available at this time. Suspect was
described as and African American male, early 20's, 5'10", and
weighing 200 lbs.

Assault
Reports
The
University of Pittsburgh Police Department has received two reports of
assaults occurring during the evening of September 15, 2007 and the early
morning of September 16, 2007. In both incidents, the suspects were five
Caucasian males. Reported information is as follows:
Incident
#1
Victim reported that on September 15, at 6:37 p.m. while walking with
two friends at Atwood and Bates Street, five males exited the Hooka Bar
and called him a derogatory name. The victim was then pushed, punched
and kicked. A second victim was also punched in the head. The suspects
then fled in an unknown direction.
Incident
#2
Victim reported that on September 16, 2007, at 3:17 a.m., he was stopped
by five males in the 300 block of Oakland Avenue. One male stated "You
want some too?" and all suspects began punching and kicking him.
Suspects then fled south on Oakland Avenue. Victim provided the following
description of one suspect:
Caucasian
male, 5'10", 170 lbs, early 20's short blonde hair, wearing no shirt,
baggy blue jeans, and white Nike "Air Force 1" shoes.
