Margaret Judd

Assistant Professor

Margaret Judd received her PhD from the University of Alberta in 2000. She is a physical anthropologist who currently excavates in Sudan, but has previously worked in Egypt, Jordan, Italy and Canada.

Her interests focus on the fluctuations of ancient health patterns and the health implications of technological and sociopolitical changes in the Nile Valley, specifically Nubia.

Specific palaeopathological interests include trauma and anemia.
