We can't think of a better way for you to learn about the University of Pittsburgh than a personal visit to campus.
To schedule one of these visits you can:

| Freshman Group Information Sessions |
- 45-60 minute group presentations about the University
of Pittsburgh, academic programs, admissions criteria, the admissions process, financial aid, and a question and answer period.
- Directed toward freshman applicants
- Offered Monday-Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Selected Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.

| Transfer Information Sessions |
- For students who have attended another university and wishing to transfer their enrollment to the University of Pittsburgh.
- 45-60 minute group presentations about the University of Pittsburgh, credit transfer policies, academic programs, admissions criteria, the admissions process, financial aid, and a question and answer period.
- Offered Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:00 p.m.
- Selected Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.
- September 6

| Sample A Class |
- Sit in on a University class
- Available weekdays during the fall, spring and summer terms
- To participate, check the current schedule and report directly to the designated building and room. Most classes are 50 minutes long.
- On some days, examinations will be administered. We have no way of monitoring that and suggest that you quietly leave the class if this is the case.
- Freshmen and transfers
- You do not need to register for Sample A Class

- One-on-one meeting with an Admissions and Financial Aid Counselor
- Beneficial for discussing personal questions or extenuating circumstances
- Individual interviews are NOT required
- Offered Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- Held in Alumni Hall, 4227 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA
- Allow about 30-60 minutes

| Campus Tours |
- Walking tours of the campus for freshmen and transfers
- Guides are Pitt Pathfinders - currently enrolled students
- If you attend a group information session, the tour will leave
directly after the presentation
- Get a student's view of campus life
- During most times of the year, tours are given Monday-Friday
at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Note: At some times, tours will be offered
less frequently due to student schedules. If timing is critical to you, please call
to confirm that your desired tour time is available on the day
you visit.
- Allow 60-90 minutes
- Note: We strongly recommend wearing comfortable shoes
- Tours leave from the lobby of the Office of Admissions and Financial
Aid in Alumni Hall

| College of Business Administration (CBA) Information Sessions |
- Monday - Friday at 1:30 p.m.
- No need to call ahead; just go to 2100 Sennott Square
- You will have the opportunity to speak with an advisor from CBA
- Allow about 60 minutes
- Designed for Freshmen.
- It is recommended that prospective transfer students schedule an individual appointment with a representative from the College of Business Administration by calling 412-383-9600.

of Engineering Information Sessions |
- Monday and Friday at 12 p.m.
- Monday - Friday at 1 p.m.

Please note, with our recent move to our temporary office in Gardner Steel, our entrance is not expediently accessible for those with a physical disability. To meet your needs, please call our office before your visit and an advisor will meet you in a designated location in Benedum Engineering Hall.

| School of Nursing Information Sessions/Tours |
- M, F only, at 2 p.m.
- No need to call ahead, just go to 239 Victoria Hall
- Freshmen and transfers welcome
- Meet with a School of Nursing representative and tour the anatomy and physiology, and nursing skills labs and the human simulation center
- Allow about 60 minutes

| University Honors College (UHC) Information Sessions |
- Monday and Friday only at 1:00 p.m.
- Freshmen and transfers welcome
- No need to call ahead; just go to the 36th Floor of the
Cathedral of Learning
- Learn about the UHC, honors classes, the honors degree, special advising, summer field programs in Mongolia and Wyoming, and other unique academic opportunities.
- Session is informal; stay as long as you like.

| Study Abroad Office Open Houses |
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
- No need to call ahead; just go to 802 William Pitt Union
- Freshmen and transfers welcome
- Learn about the opportunities to internationalize your education. The University Center for International Studies has certificate programs in African, Asian, European Union, Latin American, Russian, and East European, Western European, and Global Studies. You can study abroad as early as the summer after your freshman year.
- Allow about 45 minutes
