School of Nursing Receives Accreditation

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has granted accreditation to the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing for its baccalaureate and master's programs in nursing education. This accreditation is for a term of 10 years, extending to December 31, 2009. In addition, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs has awarded a 10-year accreditation to the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing.
