Who We Are

nidus: a journal of contemporary art and literature is published at the University of Pittsburgh by graduate students in the Master of Fine Arts Program. We publish works of Poetry, Fiction and Creative Nonfiction that are cutting-edge and of the highest quality. The word "nidus" can be defined as a nest or a breeding place; a place where something originates, develops or is located. Keeping this in mind, our journal strives to be a source and center for talented writers and discriminating readers. We seek submissions from both established and up-and-coming writers, and from readers both familiar with and new to online publications.

Have some work for us?  You can send submissions to us by e-mail!
