The primary rescue boat is RR-5221. A 1986, open bow, 25 ft. Boston Whaler Guardian with a divers / rescue door, it is powered by twin 150HP out-board motors. This boat and all other boats in the service are equipped with a full set Advanced Life Support equipment and diving gear. RR-5221 also carries a 350-gpm. portable fire pump for fighting boat fires.

RR-5222, a 1985 25 ft. Boston Whaler, Frontier with cabin and divers / rescue door is powered by a 260 HP Mercruiser inboard/outboard engine. This boat is primarily used in the winter and as a backup.

RR-5223, a1986 Yankee Airboat, is powered by a 350hp Chevy engine. Used primarily in the winter months, this boat has the capability of gliding over ice and debris laden water.

This inflatable boat is a 14 ft. Achilles powered by a 35hp motor. Kept on a trailer at our Downtown Station (Medic 14 / Rescue 2) These boats can be on trailered by a District Chief's vehicle or any one of the Rescue Trucks.
