Daniel V. Grancea, became the head coach at Pitt in March 2004. Daniel is a former Romanian National Team rower combining over 28 years of rowing and coaching experience. Daniel has a totally different approach to rowing technique, training methods and conditioning which will insure the performances of the team over the years to come.

Victor Gallik, former Villanova rower and referee for the past 12 years, joined our team this year as assistant coach. Vic has been involved with rowing for over 20 years and has brought his experience and excitement to the team.
