Dr. Degenholtz received his doctorate in Health Services
Research from the Division of Health Services Research and Policy, University
of Minnesota. His dissertation
focused on case managers' decision making for the disabled elderly in
publicly financed long-term care programs. While at the University
of Minnesota, he conducted
research and published articles on quality assurance in home care and
assessing the values and preferences of the elderly. His areas of interest
include health policy, long-term care and genetic testing.
