The Center for Bioethics and Health Law conducts a bi-weekly seminar series featuring speakers from a variety of disciplines speaking on a topic in bioethics. Many speakers are University of Pittsburgh faculty, but distinguished visiting faculty also lecture. The series is open to the University community and the general public. Continuing medical education and continuing legal education credits are awarded for attendance at these programs. Center faculty also participate in continuing education programs of a more traditional nature on a local, regional, and national basis. These programs are in the form of conferences, workshops, and public forums.
