WHAT DO I
NEED TO APPLY?
(Applications are accepted throughout
the year. "We encourage applicants to submit application materials
prior to beginning of a term for your decision making and planning".)
- Bachelor
of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score
- GRE may be waived for admission into a Master's program if the QPA is 3.5
- Current license as a registered nurse
- All students must obtain a Pennsylvania
license
- Resume
- Short Essay
- Three professional recommendations
- A 3 credit undergraduate statistics course
- At least 2 years of clinical experience prior to beginning
clinical courses
POST-MASTER'S
CERTIFICATE ADMISSION CRITERIA
- MSN or MN
- Area of specialization as a NP or CNS
- Official transcript showing evidence of Master's Degree from
a nationally accredited school of nursing.
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Satisfactory interview with program faculty
- ACLS Certification (On admission for full time students; by
first clinical course for part-time students)
